Tangle teasers suck. I have super fine yet super dense wavy hair that tangled extremely easily I love my unbrush
It’s usually works better when you plan on parting/sectioning your hair to add water/product so that it does not hurt as much and separates easier, like you did when you were detangling your hair

I am a die hard tangle teezer girl I have everything to each of there brushed in multiple colors ( and there minis of each), spray bottles, detangling, cream, and even pet brushes. It is Wear al my money goes I could call it an addiction is for all hair types, and ages There are even certain brushes shaped like flowers with flower containers for kids. Get one!!!

My hair sound the same way when I’m combing it just dry. I can put gel and moisturizer today and then tomorrow it’ll be dried up again. It’s like a all day thing messing with my hair especially when I wash it and deep condition it and braid it up so I can wear my wigs
