I’d like to start off 2025 with some laughs and giggles: The Wicked Queen from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is sick and tired of the Magic Mirror always saying Snow White is prettier than her. So, she decides to change herself by going to a salon for a complete head-to-toe makeover. After the makeover, the Wicked Queen heads back to the castle and says, "Magic Mirror, I just got back from the salon." The Magic Mirror says, "Was it closed?"

OK, I love change. I love trends. I’ve been on this planet long enough to see everything come and go at least twice. First the good. I love the smoky smudged pencil liner. I’m over cat eyes and precise lines. I loved the absence of extreme contouring and going for a snatched look. I love the cool eye. I’m done with brown. I have always loved gray shadow. I’m especially excited because I’ve given up coloring my hair and silvers and grays will look good with silver hair. I’m not into matte. I’ll meet you part way at satin. But not matte. Not ready to give up cream blush but that palette of baked blushes is pretty. What I absolutely will not do is dark lips. I’m too old and it makes me look like Cruella. I will do a chocolate or black cherry balm but it has to be very sheer.
Oh great so the makeup that I did when I was a teenager. Got it.
